ORDERING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THE SOLOMON’S GUARANTEE
Solomon’s Gourmet Cookies stands behind its products 100%. We use only the finest ingredients and have no preservatives or additives in our products. We want our customers and the recipients of Solomon’s Gourmet Cookies to be fully satisfied. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will work to resolve the matter, either by replacing the product, refunding your money, or giving a credit for future purchases, less any taxes, delivery, shipping, or handling charges. The remedy will depend on the circumstances and customer preference, and each issue will be resolved on a case by case basis. The guarantee does not apply to orders where a customer has provided incorrect or improper address or shipping information. Further, the guarantee does not cover orders that a customer wants to ship out (at their request or selection) which requires the product to sit over the weekend or a holiday at a shipping facility.
SHIPPING
Standard Shipping Information and Policies
Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Shipping charges are determined by weight, location, and the method of shipping selected. All orders are shipped F.O.B. Chicago, IL. Solomon’s Gourmet Cookies does not bear the risk of loss if items are damaged or lost during shipping.
Solomon's Gourmet Cookies ships via FedEx. Please note: Selecting FedEx Ground and Ground Home Delivery is NOT available for shipments going to locations in AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY. Orders to APO and FPO addresses must be placed by phone, at 888.384.8575. FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you have special shipping requirements we will do our best to accommodate you. We strongly recommend that you select a shipping method that will ensure your items arrive within 2 Days to better ensure freshness.
Because, FedEx does not move packages over the weekends or holidays, it is our standard policy is to hold orders that would sit over the weekend and ship them on MONDAY to ensure the FRESHEST arrival.
During the holidays and holiday season more time may be necessary to process, fill and ship orders. Delays can be expected during these times. We strongly recommend that you place your order at least 2 weeks in advance during these busy times of the year.

Saturday Delivery
FedEx Ground Home Delivery, where available, can deliver packages to residential addresses Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday delivery is NOT available online for Regular FedEx Ground service to commercial addresses or areas not served by Home Delivery, and Express Services (Express Saver, 2 Day, and Overnight). We can NOT deliver on Sunday or Holidays. Weekends and Holidays also do NOT figure into the calculation of transit times.
Ship ASAP
Select “Ship ASAP” if you want your package to ship out immediately and transit over the weekend or a holiday, where your package will sit at a shipping facility. This only affects orders placed on Wednesday thru Friday. We cannot guarantee the freshness of Ship ASAP orders.
Future Ship Date
If you would like to select a Future Ship Date, please indicate that when you place your order under the “Future Ship Date” line. This only guarantees that we will ship your order on the requested date (Please Note: for orders that come in after 10 am CT, the earliest they will ship is the next business day). You still must select the appropriate shipping method to ensure your item arrives when you want. Future ship dates that require an order to ship over the weekend (and thus sit at a shipping facility) WILL go out, but Solomon’s will not guarantee the Freshness of the items shipped. We cannot guarantee the freshness of Future Shipping orders, since they may sit in a Shipping warehouse over a weekend or holiday, depending on the date and shipping method chosen by you (the customer). We cannot ship items on a weekend or holiday. If you select a weekend or holiday we will hold your package until the next available ship day.
Insulated Shipping
To ensure freshness while cookies are shipping during the months of May through September, we strongly recommend that you select "Insulated Shipping" (available upon check out). We can only guarantee the freshness of any order sent with Insulated Shipping during this timeframe.

FRESHNESS AND STORAGE
Solomon's Gourmet Cookies uses no additives or preservatives in our gourmet cookies, brownies, and bars. For the freshest taste, cookies should be eaten upon receipt or stored in the freezer for up to two (2) months. When storing cookies in the freezer use an air tight container. Allow 20 to 30 minutes for frozen cookies to thaw before serving.
ONLINE ORDERS
Payment for online orders must be made at the time of the order by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, or AMEX). To place online orders please go to our Catalog at www.solomonscookies.com.
IN PERSON, PHONE, & FAX ORDERS
Payment for in person, phone & fax orders is preferred by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, or AMEX). Personal checks may be accepted under certain circumstances. No order will be shipped until payment has been received.

WHOLESALE AND CATERING ORDERS
Wholesale and Catering Orders cannot be placed online and require an account with Solomon's Gourmet Cookies, LLC. Payment is requested by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, AMEX).
Trays and Baskets are available for catered events. Please call to inquire if delivery is available to your location or business in the Chicagoland area.

TERMS
The following terms apply to all orders. These terms are subject to change at anytime without notice.
1) In the event of damage or shortage of product in transit, file all claims within 48 hours of receipt. The shipper is not responsible for damage or shortage which occurs in transit. The product cannot be returned. All orders are shipped F.O.B. Chicago, IL. Customer bears the risk of damage and loss once shipper receives the product.
2) In the event of incorrect address information, Solomon’s reserves the right to assess a $10 charge for re-delivery plus any additional shipping charges. Please supply us with any change of address information as soon as possible before an order is to be shipped.
3) All payments are payable to Solomon's Gourmet Cookies, LLC. Checks and money orders should be sent to 2222 N. Elston Ave., Chicago, IL 60614.
4) A $35.00 service fee will be charged for returned checks or invalid credit card numbers.
5) All bills 60 days or more past due will be assessed a 1.5% late charge fee per month (18% per annum).
6) More Time may be needed to process, pack and ship orders during the holidays.
7) Force Majeure – Solomon’s Gourmet Cookies shall not be held liable here by reason of any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations on account of strikes, shortages, riots, insurrection, fires, flood, storm, explosions, acts of God, war, governmental action, labor conditions, earthquakes, extreme weather, or any other cause which is beyond the reasonable control of Solomon’s.

All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to introduce new cookie varieties and substitute cookies.
SALES TAX (Illinois Residents Only)
Sales Tax is added to all orders placed in Illinois.
COOKIES AND PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN NUTS
Several of our gourmet cookies, brownies and bars DO contain nuts. All products are prepared on the same premises, and therefore all products may contain traces of nuts or nut byproducts.
